Smiley! Passionate! BrighT!

With all formalities out of the way, let me tell you more about myself! I was born and raised in small town Wernersville, Pennsylvania, with access to cities, such as Lancaster, Philadelphia, and New York City! I’ve been surrounded by music my entire life, so naturally, the arts found me and I ended up on this journey of self discovery! At just three years old, I told my parents that I wanted to be an actor, but eventually that desire evolved to include being a singer, dancer, recording artist, and producer. As the son of bass player, Lamont Bates, and cousin to Grammy nominated Jazz pianist, Christian Sands, this further fueled my fire of aspiring to become one of the greats! After primary school, I continued my studies at NYU in the Vocal Performance program, learning more about community that found me. While living in NYC, I’ve worked on a variety of productions both at school and throughout the city, including cabarets, musicals, films, readings, and workshops. I also began writing, producing, and releasing my own original music (click the Spotify button at the top of the page!). After graduating, I was given the pleasure of taking on the role of Alumni Liaison for the Conrad Weiser Theater Company (CWTC), where my work revolves around maintaining connections of Alumni, being a resource for aspiring artists, and continuing to establish the CWTC legacy! Nowadays, when I’m not on stage, in meetings, or in the studio, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my dogs, binging shows, gaming, and traveling to new places!
